Health & Wellness Counselling: Talia is available at the Health Centre for youth & adult counselling.
Pregnancy Support: Krista offers telephone/in-person support for expectant parents. CSFS also offers pregnancy support/maternal child health services which can be accessed through nurse Amanda or at the Doctor Days.

CHRISTINE JOSEPH, a cherished elder of the Yekooche First Nation, has been the community health representative since 1984, demonstrating a lifelong dedication to the health and well-being of her community. As a consistent presence at the Yekooche Health Centre, Christine is a trusted resource for members seeking help and support. Her unwavering commitment is evident in all she undertakes, whether it’s assisting at community health events, arranging travel and medical appointments, advocating for the community’s needs, or planning health programs and events.
An indispensable member of the health team, Christine holds a place of high respect within the community. Her family is of utmost importance to her, and she actively participates in the movement for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, advocating for the safety of her community members in honour of lost loved ones.

Workshops and gatherings celebrate our cultural heritage and strengthen our communal bonds.
Our art classes and traditional medicine workshops allow members to express themselves, learn new skills, and deepen their understanding of our cultural practices.

In grief and loss workshops, members share experiences, engage in traditional ceremonies, and find healing in a compassionate environment; resilience and unity are reinforced in in times of sorrow.
